The SPCA's fall fundraising dinner and "cat" beret will be held on Saturday November 14 and we are taking a step back through the decades from now to the 1950's.
We will have a delicious four-course dinner catered by Houston Pizza which will feature dishes from each era, a cash bar and signature cocktails from each decade, pop culture trivia and games, and a live band from Calgary called the "Two-Bit Bandits" who will play some of your favourites from all the decades. If you don't have your organization's' holiday party planned yet this may be an easy option which also allows you to give back.
Pull out your grooviest bell bottoms, your slickest leather jacket, your grungiest plaid or your stretchiest spandex and come dressed as your favourite decade. And if you hate dressing up in costumes? That's okay, because "today" counts as a decade!
This is an important fundraiser for the SPCA and all proceeds go to our local shelter operations, so we also want to thank the many generous businesses and individuals who are donating some very intriguing items for our raffle and silent auction, and we will have a 50/50 too! (You could even start your Christmas shopping at our event!)
The event will be held at the Legion Hall in Swift Current. Tickets are $50 each or a table or 8 for $400 and you can get tickets at Pharmasave or by calling Teresa at 306-773-1292.
