The band has been delivering their debut album Big City Blues to new audiences throughout Canada. They have been touring throughout BC\, Alberta and the Yukon since 2014.\n\nVancouver-based\, The Burying Ground formed in 2014 with Woody Forster on vocals and resophonic guitar\, and Devora Laye on vocals\, washboard\, saw\, and kazoo. The duo often adds musicians on upright bass\, lap slide guitar (and other instrumentation such as fiddle\, clarinet\, trumpet\, tenor banjo) for their live shows\, creating a musically rich tapestry of old time sound with a modern polish.\n\nA band that shines when performing live\, The Burying Ground have been charming crowds large and small all over western Canada\, lending new life to old songs while performing original tunes that reference the 1920s and '30s but are for decidedly modern audiences.
